Refuting Christian Fundamentalist Presuppositional Apologetic Gaslighting

Image
[First Draft]  [Part 1 in a series]  [ Link to discussion ]   Re: "What I find difficult to debate against the idea that the Christian God is the necessary force behind truth and logic. In order to argue against the Christian God you would have to borrow rationality and logic from the Christian worldview. You can’t just say there is a neutral ground. You have to adopt a worldview where you have your logic justified. I don’t see any justification for truth and logic outside of the character of the Christian God." --- Saying (anyone) (who wants to refute Christian fundamentalism; since that absolutely is the flavor of Christianity presuppers are presupposing) "would have to borrow rationality and logic from the Christian worldview" ... is like saying: (anyone) who wants to refute Westboro Baptists' claim to being the most loving and peaceful religion ever to exist ... "would (first) have to borrow love and peace from the Westboro Baptist worldview". Howe...

How Mike Jones EARNS (and thus takes) Credit For "Saving Souls".

Image
Time Index: 6:07 They do though. Fundamentalists (ie. Jones) do take credit for it. And to be fair, they should. Because they believe in a "God" who has a very sloppy "plan". Every day, countless soul-prison "carnal bodies" die. Each and every day, countless many of those souls fall forever into an eternally inescapable Hell. And why do they fall into such a Hell? Because soul-savers like Jones didn't happen to cross their paths to deliver (expensive) soul-saving afterlife fire insurance plans (which they market as "free"; because that helps them sell more). They won't admit it. But if we really listen to what they believe (or, at least, what they claim to believe), ... their deity's grand plan is an Eternal Fate Lottery. You can only hold one golden ticket at a time. But you can trade that in for a different religious sect's Pascalian Wager ticket. When judgment day comes, "God" lets everyone know w...

Sexual Ethics & Natural Law: A Philosophical Debate

Image
Besong plans to divorce his wife after they're done procreating; right? Or, if "marriage" has a purpose that isn't about procreating, is marriage still "natural"? Will he and his "wife" at least stop having sex (forever after) once they are done trying to procreate? Also, I hope they never have sex while she's already pregnant. Also, I hope they never do anything sexually pleasurable that can't lead to pregnancy, *even if* doing so has psychological health benefits, and/or helps them stay bonded, intersocially healthy, and together. Or wait ... maybe they should? When I think back to their "modal" arguments about chewing gum vs straws, ... it seems like Besong simultaneously does and doesn't think indirect health benefits count as sufficiently satisfying "Natural Law". What about reducing the chances of testicular cancer, by the guy "cleaning out the pipes" during prolonged absence? Surely that c...

Honestly, I'm Beyond Sick Of Obvious Female Narcissists Posing As Victims While They Gaslight All Men In Support Groups

From the group:  Narcissistic Relationships,Emotional Abuse &Gaslighting💯 Richele Kramer ·posted:    27 comments 34 shares   Franco Suarez Said the misandric narcissist gaslighting all of humanity.   Leovani S Payseur    are you saying that about Richelle??   James Apperson according to Richele, literally all men are clinical Narcissists.   Richele Kramer Hello, have we met? Apparently not.  [ James Apperson ] is either a bot or my ex-husband - look at the profile…2 friends. My reputation, experience and expertise all speak for themselves.   James Apperson 1. I refuse to be goaded into justifying myself to strangers on the internet; not even about something like why I'd choose to not use FB for amassing or amusing "Friends". Nor to convince anyone I actually exist. 2.. Your " reputation, experience, and expertise" (whatever those mean to you) aren't at issue here. 3. OP literally means that all men in the world are cli...

My "Dirty Dozen" List; For What Makes A Woman Un-Attractive (vs Attractive).

For me personally? 1. Major Personality Disorder(s) 2. Combatative or "hard" personality.  3. Christian-religious. It's fine if she's only surface-level, casually, or culturally "Christian". But if she takes it more seriously than that, it gets factored into "The Crazy/Hot Matrix". [Disclaimer: Please note, when he gets to the part where he disparages trans-identity, I cringe. I don't talk that way. I don't think it's respectful or decent to talk about trans people that way; regardless of how you or I might answer the question "What is a woman?". I don't date trans persons. But I don't talk disrespectfully about them either. I don't think it's ok to politically weaponize vulnerable people's psychosocial paradigm. But the rest of this is spot-on. I don't have the time (right now) to re-make this video without that part. So I'd ask you to understand this in context.] 4. Unhealed traumas cau...

Why I Hate Biblical Religiosity

Image
[First Draft]    Biblical religiosity ... keeps sexism going, perpetuates social, political, and corporate hierarchies that have always advantage men at a corresponding disadvantage to women, inspired the invention of color-based racism, and (usually) hides the fact that their own religions are all a form of religion-based racism.  Ideological (views and values) groups rooted in Biblical ideals ... perpetuate the "othering" (even to the extent of literally demonizing) of all people who are "guilty" of "unapproved" ways of thinking, feeling, identifying, living, and loving. They've colonized across the globe, with both physical and psychological violence. They've brought us: inquisitions, holy wars, literal witch hunts, and pointlessly destructive social divisions within families. They do (and have always) functioned as systemic catalysts for causing, worsening, and sustaining severe mental illness (even among children). They drive countless LGBT ...

Refuting A Trinitarian

Image
@Optimistic_Christianity 1 hour ago  @ApPersonaNonGrata  wow. You and others who don't believe in The Trinity seem to overthink the simplest of things. Logically, if The man Christ Jesus, The Son of God is Yahweh himself then The Trinity is automatically true. The simple part is to recognize the many places in the New Testament that call Jesus God where Jesus calls himself God. Very simple.     @Optimistic_Christianity  You want a written debate with little old me? Fine. You got it. ---- The expression "Jesus is God" could also be understood as an expression of "Modalism". Modalism is a theological belief that God is one person who appears in three different forms, or modes. It's also known as Sabellianism, Noetianism, and Patripassianism. Modalism is not another way of saying "Trinitarianism". "Binitarians" also exist. Did you really not know about those other theologies? Or were you dishonestly banking on the hope that ...
