To test Abe (thus dishonestly implying GOD doesn't know what Abe will do), b.) to ensure maximum fanaticism (God wouldn't want any lukewarm followers. Religious extremism is essential to God's true plan and special-people-club. Right?) #AndreaYates4Sainthood c.) to create a cryptic foreshadowing (a holy-hint teaser) for the later death of Jesus. 2. Jesus pretending to be a human. 3. Jesus pretending to be an innocent victim, 4. Jesus pretending to die.
