Is Trump Really THREATENING CRIMINAL CHARGES for Companies That Hire Black People?

The short answer to that question is: NO.

However, there is alot to talk about "under the hood" of that monster truck.
So let's take an honest look at the problems. 
From there, we can discuss real solutions. 

Trump's anti-DEI absolutely IS a multi-layered expression of intense bigotry against people-groups such as non-whites, women, LGBT, etc..
And yeah, that's atrocious.

It's also a PSY OP tool for creating a Totalitarian dictatorship and Orwellian Dystopia. [This video explains how that works]

That is beyond nightmare levels of WhatTheFuckery.

On the other hand,
Trump's team isn't saying "Companies can't hire such people".

They're only saying this:

Whenever you hire someone from one of those sociodemographics, you better make sure you can justify doing so based on merits rather than hiring them based on their sociodemographics.

They figure it weakens the machinery of society to intentionally keep installing sub-par parts into the machine.
He's not wrong about this.
The best qualified candidates should always be the people who get the job; at least when that job really matters to the essential functions of society.

Sometimes the most qualified candidate IS a person of color.
Sometimes the most qualified candidate IS openly on the LGBT spectrum.
etc.
On the surface, some people say "It looks like Trump DOES want that person to get the job; even if they are a woman, or a person of color, etc.". I was willing to assume that too; until he did this:
It's important to understand there are LAYERS of motives in play.
On the surface, Trump is saying things I partially agree with; in principle. Beneath the surface, Trump is thinking, saying, and doing things that no rational or decent human being could agree with. Up there, where the air is thin, "leaders" on both sides are detached from reality. However, that problem is much much worse among "Conservatives". So let's look closer at 'the situation on the ground'. There are REASONS why minority groups (including people with disabilities) are not AS OFTEN the most qualified candidates compared to white, straight, non-disabled males who were raised in financially strong homes.


The reasons for that are not because white, straight, non-disabled males are more naturally capable of anything.
They aren't.

The REASONS white, straight, non-disabled men are statistically more likely to BE the most qualified candidate are these reasons:

They were raised in a societal system, and then went out into that system, ...
which unfairly PREVENTED 'people of color, non-straight-appearing people, women, disabled people, very short men, "aesthetically challenged" people, and poor people ... from equal ACCESS to higher education and socio-professional networking.

The real solutions are multi-faceted.  
Every broken part of our sabotaged systems needs to be repaired or replaced.

Every missing part needs to be added. 

We need Universal Basic Income.
Until that happens, NOBODY is truly (not even primarily) to blame for how badly they struggle or fail.

What else do We, The People need, to build a truly exceptional society?
 
Special GRANTS for disadvantaged people who can propose a viable plan for using those funds to rectify any such disadvantage. [along with free support from trained offices to help such people draft such proposals]

This is the best, most rational form of "reparations" that people of color have been talking about. 

We don't need to wonder or guess about which people have been unfairly disadvantaged.

Everyone that needs more help ... only needs more help because of ways they've been fairly disadvantaged. 

Although, in a society where most people are still lingering under the debunked delusion of "libertarian free will", it's understandable why so many people mistakenly think "failures" are to blame for their own failures.

What else does our society need? 
 
Free and equal access to all forms of education and training.

Stable, clean and safe ... truly affordable housing for literally every citizen
[ no leases; no credit checks; only criminal history checks whenever the housing would give close access to minors to someone who might be dangerous around minors].

However, we should create a special agency and registry to verify citizens are safe as tenants.

That agency could do comprehensive background research for every voluntary applicant, to verify they have no history of abusing properties, abusing neighbors, failing to pay rent on time etc..

So then instead of a property owner researching those details, they would only need to verify that the proper agency has verified a prospective tenant as a low-risk or no-risk tenant.
 
We should also have special FDIC-esque insurance to ensure all property owners get their rent no matter what.

What else should we be doing for property owners,
both for the homes they live (or work) in,
but also for any rental housing they own?

Basic maintenance materials and supplies for preventing "urban decay" of all privately owned properties ... should be tax-funded and otherwise free.
Need a new countertop, roof, or driveway?
No problem.
Visit a local or virtual office for this.
Fill out the form.
Get approved for a subsidy grant.
Spend that voucher on what you need.

Do you also need help with labor?
No problem.
Cheap labor is available if you let students (working under qualified supervision) do the work.
That same labor is free, if you qualify for that assistance.

To make that viable, the wealthy and super-wealthy citizens and corporations should have to pay the most (instead of the least) taxes.
And their tax rates should be the same no matter where they live or operate.

We also need an international and enforceable treaty to ensure no companies have a place they can move to exploit the poor for slave-wage labor, or for dodging taxes.
 And whenever a large company (such as an automobile manufacturer) does move to another country?
The laws of our country should make their domestic property (land, machinery, and other equipment) 
become instantly the property of the US government until a suitable company can be found (or created) to resume using that property for the employment of those people who temporarily lost their jobs when that company migrated. 

We would also need government-subsidized housing which specializes in higher-risk tenants.
That way, everyone still has a good place to live.

Higher-risk tenants should have tiered levels of oversight to ensure compliance.

There should also be special halfway houses for habitually failed tenants, to train those adults to think and behave responsibly in society.

Successful completion of those programs would result in being registered as a low-risk tenant; with govt-protections in place to supervise and ensure those tenants meet all of their responsibilities.

Although, sometimes, a person is struggling to be a great tenant because they need some support services for their physical or mental disabilities. [ although, technically, mental disabilities ARE ALWAYS physical disabilities; happening at a microscopic level within the brain] 
They too should always have whatever support services they need. 

What else does our society need, to finally and truly thrive?

Totally free wall-in mental health clinics, in every city.

MUCH higher (and much more accountable) standards of care for mental and physical health care providers. 

Paid incentives for education and training (we pay students to learn, instead of students paying to be taught) for every career that America needs a LOT MORE people doing (such as doctors, nurses, therapists, etc).

Totally free campus housing for all university students,
with completely private rooms.
Those rooms should have ample space, security, and appliances for the best experience we can make available to everyone.

Dismantling the entire "Prison Economy" as we replace it with a system that is not hate-based, not anger-based, not destruction-based, does not function as a loophole for legalized slavery, which does not severely punish people for victimless crimes, and which does not target minorities.

Stop hiring racists to be cops.

Stop allowing racists to run for political office.
Start pre-screening all 'positions of power' for personality disorders. 

Instead of hunting, imprisoning, and deporting both illegal and LEGAL immigrants, ...

Leave the LEGAL immigrants alone, 
and allow illegal immigrants the opportunity to demonstrate their past, present, and future value to our society. 
We still have vast regions of land that are UNTAMED only because none of us are willing to suffer the hardships of taming those lands.
Many people who are here illegally would embrace the opportunity to tame those regions for everyone's benefit if given the opportunity and the support they would need. 

Radically increase focus and funding for all currently-promising health-impacting sciences. 

Create a SOCIETY where everyone is "given wings" and taught how to fly without crashing into each other.

We'll know we've succeeded, when the most qualified candidates for all careers ... have no statistical correlation for color, sex, disability (most forms of disability), ethnicity, height, looks, where people grew up, where they currently reside, etc..

Conservatives CREATED the system that SABOTAGES people in targetted demographics.

From there, they cite the orchestrated RESULTS of that sabotage to validate their debunked theories about Social Darwinism.

They do this to justify their belief that straight white men were intended by nature and by "God" to horde power, horde resources, wage-enslave, and prison-enslave everyone they superficially don't feel "good" about.

Trump is not wrong to say our society is stronger when we hire the most qualified candidates.

He is also correct that this does, sometimes, ALSO unfairly handicap white dudes who (as a matter of fact) are personally and totally not to blame for the systemic and historical injustices of their society.

These are often men who have acted responsibly; to get the education and training they needed.

They worked their asses off to climb up (often without any special support), and then end up cockblocked at the glass ceiling ... because of reverse racism and reverse sexism.

Everyone needs to understand this. Reverse racism IS racism.
Reverse sexism IS sexism.

"Racism" is NOT defined by whether or not a prejudice is systemic.
Nor it is defined by whether or not a prejudice can be rationalized; because it always can be. 
Nor is it defined by whether or not a prejudice is targeting a minority demographic.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Racism and sexism are always unethical and counterproductive to building an equitable society. 

For these reasons, we really should be looking at DEI program policies as problematic.
However, we should not just throw those programs in the trash.
Instead, we should adjust those programs to the role of data-point collection and supervision, so they can work together with newly created agencies to help us create a truly "equal opportunity" society. 

Trump and Elon are pretending not to realize what caused our society's most serious problems in the first place. They're also playing dumb about how to resolve those problems. They don't actually want those problems to be solved. Must like "Big Pharma", they personally benefit from those ways that our society fails. But those benefits are not only about money, power, and privilege. It's also about clinical Narcissism and Sociopathy. If you were out there being the Hero you really are 'in your heart of hearts', this is the conversation Elon (or his sidekick Trump) would offer you; if they felt they could be honest with you.
All of this has been obvious to everyone who have been honest with themselves, and accountable TO themselves.
If that wasn't your yesterday, it could still be your today. Who do you choose to be?
