Addressing " For Chirho's" Anti-atheist Rant

My response: 1. "Due to their lack of logical ammunition, " -- When you say that, you are just gas lighting. --------------------------------- 2. "they usually explode and burn" -- Just because you assume and imagine that doesn't make it real. -------------------------------- 3. " with anger and wrath" -- Only some of the pushback religious-fundamentalist colonizers get ... includes some anger/wrath. Some (only a little bit) of the pushback you get (from random people) has some anger it. I'll grant that. But it's due; because your mafia-cult does a lot of harm to innocent non-consenting people. -------------------------------- 4. "to consume not only me but everything around me. " -- It only feels that way because you're taking it personally. To understand WHY you are taking it so personally, see Darkmatter2525's video called "The Real God; An Epiphany".
------------------------------ 5. "They emote debris and dirt" -- In reality, what they're doing is really just calling you out for your BS. A call to accountability feels like an attack because you don't want to be held accountable.
That is a standard problem for clinical narcissists. ---------------------------------- 6. "which is a sure sign of the lack of the capacity for rational discourse." -- Anyone can go back and read various comment-engagements under your various videos. And if they do, they'll see skeptics offering rational discourse. They'll see you usually just ignoring it. And whenever you do engage, readers will see you saying entirely unreasonable things. It's exactly the same as how you say hateful, paranoid, entitled, and irrational things in your videos. --------------------------------- 7. "So they become volcanic in their rage and emotion," --- I sure haven't seen that. -------------------------------- 8. "and then erupt and spew out ash, molten rock of insults" -- If rational skepticism really burns that much, it might be a 'you' problem. ----------------------------------- 9. "and ad hominems." -- Ad Hominem fallacy is not "insults". Insults are not Ad homs. Ad Hominem fallacy is only happening when the person is attacking the person instead of the arguments but is phrasing that attack as-if it addresses or invalidates the argument.
--- Example:
Saying "you're an idiot" is not an ad hom. "Saying "You're an idiot and therefore your argument must be wrong" is an ad hom. ----------------------------- 10. "Atheists, just be honest in yourselves" -- They are being honest about what they think. Your ego just won't let you realize it. ------------------------ 11. "and acknowledge" -- First, why do you care what someone else does-or-doesn't "acknowledge"? So-called "atheists" don't care what you acknowledge. They just want you to stop making your religion be a problem for other people. This is why they don't normally go after wiccans, or deists, or agnostic-theists, or pantheists, or Jainism, or Native/Indigenous spiritual-ists, etc.. In fact, it's why they don't go after people's grandparents for "merely believing" In a Jesus. Keep your beliefs to yourself, and then there won't be a problem. Your mafia-cult does a lot of harm to a lot of people. Rational-skeptics are just trying to reason you out of behaving that way. And since you "believe in" behaving in those ways, rational-skeptics try to reason-you-out of those beliefs. And to be honest, most of the very-few skeptics who post to your channel ... have been very civil and patient with you about it. ---------------------------- 12. " the self-evidence of God ," -- The alleged self-evidence of a deistic, agnostic-theist, or pantheistic "god" is not the same thing as: the alleged self-evidence of your far more specific conceptualized "God". Things like scientific arguments and appeals to beauty ... do not make your "God" self-evident. If someone agrees with those arguments, it only subjectively validates a deistic or pantheistic "god". --------------------------- 13. "surrender your defiance and yield to Him. " -- So-called "atheists" are not being any more "defiant" against your conceptualization of "God" than rival-faction-Christians are being "defiant" against your conceptualization of "God". Nor are they any more "defiant" than deists, pantheists, wiccans, polytheists, etc.. Many billions of adults in the world *have heard of* a politically Conservative, colonizing, Christian-Religious-Fundamentalist "God". And yet, most of those adults (including most theists; and even most Christians) think that-specific-conceptualization of "God" (YOUR concept of "God") is evil and ignorant. Every mentally-adult human who has heard of your cult ... wishes your cult would disappear. Meanwhile, we all realize your "God" is really only your own fragile ego.

That is why you feel so entitled (and desperately needy) for everyone to "submit".
Thus, it's why you feel entitled to tell all non-theists that they need to start using words how YOU use words.
a·the·ism
/ˈāTHēˌiz(ə)m/
Origin

late 16th century: from French athéisme, from Greek atheos, from a- ‘without’ + theos ‘god’.
------------------------------ 14. "He is waiting for you." -- "He" is: you. And thus, "He" needs a cult-deprogrammer and a lifelong commitment to being in therapy. ------------------------------- Bonus material: As for me personally, ... I don't identity as an "atheist"." Therefor, your arguments about word-meaning are irrelevant to me. My 'leanings' fluctuate. Sometimes I think in terms of a typical non-theist/rational-skeptic. Sometimes, I lean 51%/49% thinking that there "is something" beyond what scientific skepticism allows for. Sometimes I even feel the Native Pre-American spiritual narratives may have it right. I "feel like" they are "onto something". It seems right to me that there is a "Great Mystery" like what Bishop John Spong talked about. And that this life is not "all there is" for us. But I never ever think any version of Christian dogma has it right. Because there are mountains of evidence against them. I'm also pretty sure that it's
psychologically unhealthy to even make-believe in Christian-authoritarian dogmas.
Although, I realize some people get some selfish (yet significant) befits from those religions.
