Sola ScripTOURa Agreeing With Jehovah's Witnesses ... in defiance of Jehovah's Witnesses.

From the FB group "Jehovah's Witnesses Exposed".

Sola Scriptura

They are losing members when they talk to True Christians, a few Verses and the doubts start.

Dave Antunes
true Christians? You mean more people who believe fairy tales are how you're supposed to lead your life today? Interesting....

Sola Scriptura
Why dont you watch Proffessor James Tour in the Origin of Life . See if your brain can grasp what is a fairy tale or truth.
More than a 100 scientific facts in the bible written long before scientists discovered it. You should join a comedian group and tell people comical stories. At least they can have a good laugh. God bless you, my friend. I will pray for you right now.

James Apperson
James Tour sells the same tabloid pseudoscience as the JWs.
He lies just as much as the JWs.
He uses logical fallacies just as much as the JWs.
Same grift. Different spin.

Sola Scriptura
[Directing this at me]

More than 50 scientist with doctorates work for James Tour.
He is the number one Scientist on The technigue working with Nano cells injected into Arteries and combating cancer cells. He is rated as one of the 50 best scientists in the world. Dont judge someone you know nothing about.
He has challenged scientist to give him proof life can be created in a Laboratory. So far no could.
James bythe way , what is your academic field and level and at which University did you qualify . Would like to hear from you.

James Apperson
I'd love to have that discussion with you.

Since you evidently think our personal academic credentials will decide if we are each qualified to even discuss the matter,
that must mean:

The Creation Institute (and all affiliated persons) are making sure to AVOID drawing ANYONE into this discussion EXCEPT FOR scientifically qualified people.

Right?

That must mean that every time YOU raise the issue in public. you are assuming everyone you are addressing is academically qualified.

Right?
So how about you go first.
What are your credentials?

Claim #1.

True Christians"

Reply:

 #NoTrueScottsmen Fallacy.

Additionally, ..
you speak as a religious warrior in a culture war against:

a.) rival religious cults.
also against
b.) a larger nebulous foe of everyone who disagrees with your cult.

This is the opposite of establishing objectivity and independent thought.

In legal terms, you do not have "clean hands".

Claim #2

"More than 50 scientist with doctorates work for James Tour."
--
No.
They don't.

Everyone at the University
works for the University.

Even fewer people work directly under him.

Nor does everyone who works under (or with) Tour share Tour's religiously-biased views about evolution.

Meanwhile, he's not qualified (as a scientific authority) to speak on evolution.
He's not a biologist.
Neither are most of the people who signed the "Dissent".

In fact, many of the people who signed it ..
were tricked/misled about what they were signing.

He's not qualified to speak (as an authority) on abiogenesis either.

It's really not his field of expertise.

Nor would he be employed to study the possibility of abiogenesis (as chemical evolution)
because he has declared religious conflicts of interests.

--------------------------------------
Claim #3

"He is the number one Scientist on The technigue working with Nano cells injected into Arteries and combating cancer cells."
---
Irrelevant.

Every gainfully employed scientist has a special focus.
I'm glad he excels at something specific.
But it has nothing to do with biological evolution
nor chemical evolution.
----------------------------------------------
Claim #4

"He is rated as one of the 50 best scientists in the world."

I just Googled it.
He's not even listed in the top 100. (<---link)

Maybe he's on someone else's list of favorites?

Maybe his politically weaponized religious cult over at the Creation Institute has their own list of scientists they like best?

Meanwhile, check out his wiki

It links to every college/university he attended.

Those schools are each the primary editor of their own wiki.

Not a single one of those schools thought it was worth mentioning James Tour is an alumni.

He just doesn't matter in the larger world of science or academia, except in his narrow field of expertise.
-------------------
Claim #5

" Dont judge someone you know nothing about."
---
How could you possibly account for the sum of my knowledge pertaining to Tour, as it relates to the larger topic at hand?

------------------------------------
Claim #6

"He (Tour) has challenged scientist to give him proof life can be created in a Laboratory. So far no could."

Keep in mind, that only applies to the issue of abiogenesis. That challenge has nothing to do with Evolution Of Species.

Meanwhile,
that is a "God of the Gaps" argument.
Although, it's also worse than that.

"We don't know exactly how it happened,

Therefor, let's assume it didn't.

Therefor MAGIC.

Therefore my personally preferred Magic Man In Sky.

Therefore everyone in the world should surrender, join, and bow to the far-right Conservative, authoritarian,
and "divinely appointed" authority
of the "totally not a religion" which I represent.

That THEOCRASY needs to happen as part of Bible Prophecy so that we can get to the part where the entire EARTH is destroyed and his BESTEST KIDS EVER can get magically teleported away from the destruction they help cause ... just in the nick of time"

It would be like someone in the mid 1600s
challenging GERM THEORY, by saying "if you can't create a germ in a lab, germs aren't a thing. And therefore disease is caused by Demons.
Therefore, my "totally not a religion" should be in charge of everyone and everything.".
------------

We understand the larger desired outcome
is political.

But you've got no chance of pulling it off.

Just like the Jehovah's Witnesses, you're stuck in a dystopian pipe dream.

Trump was your last "Hail Mary Pass". And it failed.
