Why Christianity, Islam, etc Are Not Valid Providers For What Atheism Lacks

"Atheism is just the lack of a belief in a god or gods. It neither provides nor detracts from any life essentials."

-J D Lights.
--- It's like being a non-stamp-collector. [in other words: someone who doesn't collect stamps] If we feel that anything is missing from our life, ... (a problem that some atheists have; but which many have already conquered), ... it really just means we have wants and needs that can be met 'somehow'.
Clearly, being a non-stamp-collector is never going to provide those things. But then, ... some stamp collector says "you need to become a stamp collector. It has provided much joy, purpose, and a platform of social connections with others who enjoy stamp collecting". Although, in this case, the other persons don't merely collect stamps. They're in a global network of mafia-cults; naively supporting organized leaders who merely use stamp-collecting as a front for their criminal enterprises.

For members, all that's written and depicted on their Holy Stamps has deep and hidden truths.

Every version of the Orthodox Stamp Album has some blurred texts, cryptic expressions and some forgeries (whether they realize it or not). Rival factions also damn each other as False Stampians; for their "obviously wrong" interpretations of the stamps. Also, a lot of the "historical" references on the face of their stamps are fictional. They don't seem to realize that either. So they maintain that it's still "inspired" by the One True Postmaster; - who also created the entire Universe. And they know that because "Well, somebody must have. Plus, it's the only "totally not a mafia/cult" that gives ME so much joy, purpose, and puts me in my place. Also, I seen magics! We just didn't happen to have a way to record it. But surely you believe me. It would be rude to doubt the magics. So the hidden meaning of every stamp in our collection must all be true. Plus, you better believe me. Or else the Comic Postmaster might violently kill you on judgement day. He also might not. It's hard to say for sure. He's pretty random. But why risk it?" So here we are... wanting various benefits that a hobby could provide. But at the same time, we realize that even the usually-sweet version of crazy ... is still crazy. -Not that the members are all crazy. It's just that their "totally not a mafia-cult" clearly is. Perhaps we should consider joining a legitimate hobby, travel, or sports group instead.
Beyond that, there is, of course, also the domain of spiritual concerns to consider.
Although, if there is a valid expression of that ideal, then only a non-con version would hold appeal for anyone who recognizes a con when they hear it.
So those who think there might-or-must be a legitimatize application of spirituality ... should be looking elsewhere for that too.
