The SAMENESS of Islamic and Christian Fundamentalist's "God of Abraham", And How That Held Humanity Back

In reference to this video (which I knew in-advance you wouldn't watch. Because religious fundamentalists won't ever risk exposure to dangerous knowledge):

1. What false assertion is made in opening text?

2.  re"Some people who CLAIMED to be Christians did some terrible things".
 That's called "The No True Scotsman" Fallacy. 

3. "Allah" is just the Arabic word for "God".

4. The Islamic god is an interpretation of "The God of Abraham".

5. Christians can't even agree among each other
about the character, plan, rules, and consequences which define their "God".

In truth, the "God" each individual Theist "has in mind" is unique to them.

That figures exists only there.

It's not the same figure/character in anyone else's mind.

Why not?

Because it's built with personal elements from each person's life experiences and unique biology.

This is why "No Two People Have Ever Read The Same Book".

A religious book, like any other book, is like a mirror.
Who looks into it
will see something of themselves in it.
But most assume they're simply seeing exactly what the writer(s) "had in mind"; which is literally not possible.

That's also why there are so many different sects and so many rogue independents.

They're all seeing something different from other readers.

But that's why churches have "shepherds" and "sheep".

They're trying to prevent and resolve SOME of the differences that exist in each mind, ... by copy/pasting (partially; but they wish it could be entirely) the mind of the Shepard
onto the minds of the sheep.

So they say "This is what it says. But more importantly, this is what it means ...".

Because if you let each reader think for themselves, you won't be able to attain a partially-true and partially-illusory impression of "sameness" of perceptions about who "God" is.

So when you say the Islamic Allah is not the same "God" as the Christian Yahweh, ...

 You're partly correct.
And for the same reasons why "God" is different for you than for other Christians. 


I know that's unsettling for religious fundamentalists, who prefer black-and-white perceptions about everything.

So then you'll want a statement to be "simply true" or "simply false".
But life doesn't really work that way.

Think of someone you know very well
and have a "close personal relationship" with.

Now think of someone else
who knows the same person
and has their own "close personal relationship" with them.

Your personal experiences, seen and felt through the lense of your unique biology, and your unique vantage point, ...
has created a mental representation of them
which is NOT the same mental construct anyone else perceives and experientially-"knows".

So "even if" there is a "God" (whatever that is),
and even if you and another Christian both have 'intuited' that "He" exists, ...
and even if you're both reading from the same materials and hearing the same sermons, ...

The "God" you know
is not the same (within your mind)
as the "God" anyone else knows in their mind.

Your mental *approximation* of "God" is unique to you.
No one else will ever perceive/experience the same.

There are some differences, when comparing your mental figure with a Muslim's.

But those differences
have no bearing on the topic at hand. 

Also,
your conceptualization of "God" 
actually has a LOT more in common with Islamic fundamentalists 
than you have in common with progressive's Christians. 


Like the video says, ...
you share a LOT in common with the Islamic fundamentalists conceptualization of "The God of Abraham".
And those common traits are directly relevant to the topic at-hand.

He was going to further explain his meaning 
and support his claim. 

But you REFUSED to hear him out about it.
So you can only ASSUME he can't make his case.

They share the same dominant features, and the same historical sources.

They're both based on "The God of Abraham".

They're both:
Authoritarian,
Totalitarian,
Fascist,
Violently Insecure,
Orwellian,
sexist (but has rules against admitting it),
habitually self-contradicting,
and habitually logically-fallacious (because it's necessary; because both systems are a scam).

BOTH general ideas about who "God" is:
also check off every single box on the list of:
diagnostic criteria
for both:
Malignant Clinical Narcissistic Personality Disorder
and Psychopathy.

And that is a LOT to have in common.

Further, ... 

Both interpretations are also:
Male (technically TRANS; having no male anatomy but still "identifying as a male").

Both are also running this life as a TEST;
where passing the test is a matter of lucky-guessing the "one true religion" which most honors "the one true God", and then fully "living it" and "fully believing it".

Both require of all members to never ADMIT it comes down to lucky-guessing the true religion.
-so that you can "justify" every soul you imagine going to your religion's "Hell".

As such,
 they also require willful ignorance about the fields of science which prove:
"beliefs"
do NOT form in the brain
the way you need-to-assume they do.

Meanwhile,
both also teach:

Those who pass
get into paradise forever.

Those who fail
go to a Hell forever.

Also,
 both Islamic and Christian cultures function (literally) as Mafias.

They're constantly competing over turf, members, social and political power (and privilege).
And they both use violence as a form of coercion. 

All sects on both religious categories (Christianity and Islam)
are also running a Racketeering Scheme, as essential to your "missions".

You're all using a fake "Boss" who "owns this town; and everyone in it".

That BOSS is willing to "protect" every person.

From what?

 From himSELF.

 From what he'll DO to you
if you don't let him protect you from what he'll to do you.



-An offer which is only valid if you fully submit to "HIS" authority
over:
 every meaningful facet of your life.

- Which you can only do ... by fully submitting to mere fallible "messengers" (thugs) over every meaningful facet of your life (even your identity).

And they're willing to wait until later, to talk about all the money, time, energy, and other personal sacrifices you'll be asked to make (which will all personally benefit the "messengers");
"if you really love him".

It is the SAME DAMNED SCAM 
with a few different story elements and different marketing strategies.

And a LOT of the ways they're the SAME 
have directly done more DAMAGE to progress 
compared to the amounts they've helped. 

For most of history,
 they were anchoring us against great progress; allowing only small points of progress, because the conservative brain has a natural fear of change, and a fanatical lack of compassion.  

And DURING those times, no non-members were allowed to contribute to the very limited ways anyone was allowed to contribute.
 Because Christianity and Islam, 
both being violent Mafias,
believe firmly in Mob Rule. 
 So non-believers had to PRETEND to be believers, 
else it wasn't safe to even attempt to contribute. 


But Christians still had 1500 years of NOT advancing science, 
until after your culture was exposed to other culture's secular ideas and new secular technologies. 
 
 As the majority paradigm shifted back towards a leftist/progressive embrace of SECULAR VALUES,
the age of science began.
 And most of the early leaders of THAT new era... happened to either BE or pretend-to-be Christians, because:
 There wasn't anyone else around to DO IT. Because your sick culture and killed, intimidated, and brainwashed so many people ... that almost everyone operated under the Christian banner at that time. 
 It would like saying "Heterosexuals took the lead in the earliest scientific revolution"; 
 after your sick cult killed so many gays and forced the rest to pretend to be straight. 

  Of course every man standing up to be counted in the setting ... projected himself as "straight" as he could. 

And of course there were hardly any women sharing those leads ... and for the same reason.
 
 Your culture prevented it. 

And that's not exactly something you should be bragging about.
